Visual Diaries

I keep several sketchbooks on the go at one time as visual diaries, recording everyday life, ideas for pictures I'm working on and events.

Some are used just in the studio, others, especially the A5 and smaller A6, are carried around with me. 

The images below are taken from a book I started in 2005 and still use as a source of ideas

I expect you'll recognise some of these in my paintings.
